Teachers / Activities Organisers / Student Services Administrators General English Teachers - for Adults and Juniors Business Studies Teachers Military English Teachers We are now recruiting specialist Business Studies teachers and Military English teachers. Part-time and full-time positions available for the summer season. There may be a permanent position available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate. Minimum qualifications: * Fluent, accurate, mother-tongue-level English without an intrusive accent. * A Bachelor's Degree-level qualification in an appropriate subject. * Cambridge CELTA / Trinity College TESOL Certificate. (Diploma level qualifications preferred). * 4 years' experience of teaching English as a foreign language in the UK or overseas. * Specialist Business Studies or Military English teaching experience - depending on which position you are applying for. If you are applying for a General English teaching position, you will ideally have experience of teaching English to students of all levels and all ages (hopefully to include exam preparation work). If you are applying for a Business Studies teaching position, you will ideally have a Business qualification and experience of work in the business world. If you are applying for a Military English teaching position, you will ideally have experience of work in a branch of the military and knowledge of STANAG assessments. Activities Organiser position We are also recruiting several sports and social activities organisers to run a sports, social and cultural activities programme for the summer season. There will probably also be one full-time, permanent position available, which should combine activities coordination with general administrative tasks. Hours: Variable, but generally 12.00 hrs - 17.00 hrs each day, Monday to Friday plus 10 hours at the weekend. ie. 35 hours in total. Rate of pay: £8 per hour. (The permanent position is subject to a 12-week trial period). Minimum qualifications: * Fluent, accurate, mother-tongue-level English without an intrusive accent. * Experience of running sports and / or social activities for young adults. Ideally, you will have a qualification in sports coaching. Ideally, you will also have a valid First Aid certificate and administrative experience. Temporary Student Services position We are also recruiting one person to assist in the administrative and accommodation / welfare departments for the summer period (mid June - end August, 2009). Hours: Variable, but generally 09.00 hrs - 17.00 hrs each day, Monday to Friday plus optional additional hours at the weekend. ie. 40+ hours in total. Rate of pay: £8 per hour. Minimum qualifications: * Fluent, accurate, mother-tongue-level English without an intrusive accent. * Experience of working in a busy office.
