Course dates 2007

The following start dates are valid for Junior English Courses:

2007 Start Dates
Easter Junior English Programme: 9th April, 2007 - 20th April, 2007 (2 weeks).

Students can start on any Monday within this period:
18th June, 2007 - 24th August, 2007.

Pre-Christmas Junior English Programme: 10th December, 2007 - 21st December, 2007 (2 weeks).

Holidays (2007)
6th April, 2007.
9th April, 2007.
7th May, 2007.
28th May, 2007.
27th August, 2007.

Christmas and New Year Holidays
23rd December, 2006 - 7th January, 2007.

Please note that no refund of fees will be made when ETC is closed for official public (bank) holidays.

Notes
All fees are in Pounds Sterling.  You must pay full fees at least 4 weeks before your course starts.   All bank charges must be paid by the student. For all of the courses listed above, there is a maximum class size of 14 students (although the average size is between 10 and 12 students).  The average age of students on the junior programme is 16, although we can accept students between the ages of 14 and 17 (inclusive).  Each lesson is 45 minutes long.

Single rooms are available in either “Homestay Accommodation” or “Private Home Accommodation”:

Homestay Accommodation means that hosts treat the student as a full member of the household, eating together and sharing the common living areas.  No more than three adult or four junior students will be accommodated in Homestay accommodation at any one time.

Private Home Accommodation means that more than three adult students may be accommodated in the home and there may be less direct contact with the host family.

Method of Payment
The invoice will be in Pounds Sterling. A completed enrolment form should be sent to ETC with a deposit of £100 (non-refundable).  Full fees must be paid before you start your course. If you choose to pay by credit card, there is a 3.8% service charge.

If you fail to obtain a visa to study in the UK, ETC will keep the deposit of £100 but return any other fees you have paid, unless we have had to pay a third party.  If you fail to obtain a visa, you must inform ETC in writing and supply all relevant documents as proof.
