The Junior English Programme

ETC can accept individual junior students when there are other junior students booked to study at the college.  The Individual Junior English Programme is designed for students who are not part of a group.  Please check with the Principal to be sure that we can accept a single junior student (and integrate him or her with the other junior students).

Included in the programme:

• 20 group lessons (=15 hours) of General English per week.
  Lessons are generally run in the mornings (from 09.00 hours until 12.30 hours), but we cannot guarantee this timetable during busy periods.
• Shared host family accommodation – where available.  If shared accommodation is not available, or if the student requests single accommodation, there will be a £10 per week supplement payable.  Please enquire at the time of booking.  Lunches are provided by the host family at weekends only.
• 1 full day excursion per week.
• 5 afternoon sports and / or social activities per week (eg. football, volleyball, crazy games, DVD show, quiz night, treasure hunt).
• A minimum of 2 evening parties per course (normally one welcome party and one goodbye party).
• Lunches from Monday to Friday at the college café.
• The services of an ETC Activities Organiser for all scheduled ETC activities.
• Selection of host family accommodation.
• Criminal Records Bureau check on all host families accommodating Junior students.
• Enrolment.
• Identity card (students should please supply at least 2 passport photos).
• Information, help and advice in personal and academic matters.
• Arrangement of emergency medical treatment as provided by the British National Health Service.
• End of course certificate.

Fees for Individual Junior Students

Extra excursions / activities:
fees depend on the destination and activity type.  Please ask for further information.

Please note that books, airport transfer, door-to-door transportation and insurance are NOT included in these fees.

These items are available at extra cost, as follows:

Books: £35 per course.

Airport transfer: £95 one way (London Heathrow / Gatwick to Bournemouth or Bournemouth to London Heathrow or Gatwick).  Please contact us for a revised fee if the student will be travelling to / from a different airport.

Door to door transportation: £120 per week.

Insurance: From £10 per week.  Please ask for an up-to-date price, as this figure is subject to change.  Student insurance is arranged by Endsleigh Insurance Services.
