Homestay Accommodation

ETC International College arranges homestay (family) accommodation for junior students.The majority of people who come to study with us choose this option, as living with an English family is a great way of practising their spoken English outside the college, and a marvellous way to find out how British people live.

All of our host families are carefully selected, and regularly inspected by our experienced Accommodation and Welfare Officer. All host families used have undergone a C.R.B. (Criminal Records Bureau) enhanced check to ensure that none of the adults in the family has a criminal record. It is possible to cater for your individual requirements, as long as you tell us at the time of booking.

Individual students may choose between:

Single homestay accommodation (staying in a study room on your own).

Shared homestay accommodation (sharing the room with one other student, who will have a different mother tongue). Subject to availability.

Most of our families live along a convenient bus route, so that coming to ETC International College each day will not take too long and should not cost too much money.

Student Welfare

Each student’s welfare is important to us because we want to make sure that they are able to make the most of their stay with us. A member of our staff is always available when you call the college telephone number, day or night, to assist students with any emergencies that might arise.
